Strategic Plan

Within the parameters of the College Strategic Plan Preston Girls’ Secondary College aims to:

• Create a learning environment that is positive and encourages a love of learning in each student
• Foster continual improvement, building on achieved strengths and successes
• Utilise teaching strategies that allow every student to push the boundaries of her potential
• Support and challenge young women to be positive leaders in their communities and in their chosen careers
• Provide activities that allow young women to discover their talents in new ways, whether they be through academic, artistic, scientific, sporting or any other field
• Model and expect excellence in the personal qualities of honesty and integrity, determination, informed risk-taking and commitment
• Provide a safe and caring environment to support the personal growth and development of students and families
• Treat each staff member, student and family with dignity and respect.
